Holidays: 23.5 days a year (rising to 28.5 over 5 years)

Shifts: Monday - Friday Double Days (6-2 / 2-10)

Are you an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a manufacturing company based in Preston? Ideally, Engineers will have worked within a fast-paced manufacturing environment such as food or FMCG and will play a key part in minimising downtime, supporting continuous improvement, and ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.

Daily Duties:

  • Perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical systems across the site
  • Quickly diagnose faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to drive improvements that enhance machine performance and reliability
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food safety standards at all times
  • Accurately document all maintenance work and ensure records are kept up to date
  • Provide support for capital projects, new installations, and equipment upgrades as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - Ideally apprentice trained
  • Experience with electrical & Mechanical fault finding and repair - FMCG/food manufacturing
  • Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
