AI Automation Engineer

Full-Time On-site

Our client currently seeks an AI Automation Engineer to join their dynamic team on an initial 6 month contract. This role is Hybrid.

The organisation is exploring how automation and AI can reduce operating costs across its nearshore and onshore Operations teams while maintaining service quality, control, and scalability.

The recommended approach is to redesign processes around automation rather than simply applying AI to existing ways of working. Priority should be given to high-volume, repetitive, rules-based activities such as case routing, reconciliations, invoice processing, reporting, access management, scheduling, and routine employee or customer requests.

  • Use code and business rules for calculations, validations, eligibility decisions, integrations, and other activities requiring accuracy and auditability.
  • Use workflow platforms to manage approvals, queues, service levels, exceptions, and human hand-offs.
  • Use AI prompts for bounded language tasks such as document extraction, classification, summarisation, and drafting.
  • Use reusable skills to package repeatable AI-assisted operating procedures, including tools, quality checks, escalation routes, and expected outputs.
  • Retain human oversight for ambiguous, high-value, sensitive, or irreversible decisions.
