We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a Shell & Core / CAT A refit project in Thurrock. This is an excellent opportunity to join an existing site team, managing the delivery of works within an existing retail unit.
Working as part of a wider project team, and reporting to an on-site Project Manager, you will be responsible for taking ownership of the site on a day-to-day basis, ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards. The role will involve coordinating multiple trades, managing subcontractors, and maintaining clear communication with the on-site project manager to ensure smooth delivery throughout all phases of the project.
The Role:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations
- Managing subcontractors and site logistics
- Driving programme delivery to meet project deadlines
- Ensuring all works are completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintaining strong health & safety compliance across site
- Liaising with clients and project teams
