Building Services Project Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Building Services Project Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid Building Services background who is looking to take ownership of projects from inception through to completion while developing their career within a growing business.
Typical Projects:
- Plant replacement
- Commercial MEP fit-outs (CAT A & CAT B)
- Building Services refurbishments
- MEP Design Only and Design & Build projects
- Design validation and condition surveys
- Dilapidation's and lifecycle replacement works
The Role:
- Carrying out site surveys
- Preparing estimates and tender returns
- Coordinating and managing the design process
- Producing and reviewing technical submittals
- Developing project programmes
- Procuring plant, materials and specialist subcontractors
- Supporting and managing project delivery from inception to completion
- Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
- Managing commissioning activities and project handovers
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
We're looking for someone who has:
- A solid background in Building Services Engineering
- A strong mechanical bias
- Experience delivering commercial MEP projects
- Good technical knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services systems
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- A proactive attitude and the ambition to grow with a successful and expanding business
