We're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Management Accountant to join our finance team in Durban. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a global business environment, supporting our UK entities while being part of a collaborative, high-performing South African team.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Reporting: Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis across multiple UK trading entities.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Support the budgeting and forecasting process and contribute to financial planning and analysis.
- Reconciliations & Compliance: Perform reconciliations and ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting standards.
- Audit & Year-End Support: Provide assistance with external audit requirements and year-end reporting.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UK-based finance leads and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and finance transformation initiatives within the department.
- Part-qualified or currently studying towards a professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, SAIPA, or equivalent).
- 2-4 years' experience in a management accounting, financial reporting, or similar finance role.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially when working across regions.
- Prior exposure to multi-entity or international environments will be advantageous.
