ob Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (Bulk Tipper)
Location: Selby area, England
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday operations, with some weekend work available
Work Schedule: 05:00 and 08:00 or a fixed shift from 08:00 to 20:00
Salary:£15.00 to £17.00 per hour, depending on shift pattern and experience, plus the opportunity for additional hours at weekends.
Job Responsibilities
- This is a varied driving role for a professional driver who is confident in handling bulk tipper work and enjoys early starts, steady Monday-to-Friday work, and occasional weekend shifts.
- The work includes shunting, farm collections and deliveries, and transporting wheat, grains, and feeds using all-electric HGVs.
- You will be responsible for completing daily bulk tipper runs safely and efficiently, supporting agricultural deliveries and collections across the local and wider rural network.
Requirements
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
- Valid Digital Tachograph card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
- Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- No more than 6 points on licence preferred, subject to client requirements
