Life as a Office Team Leader:
Our branch is a busy, fast‑paced environment and, as Team Leader, you are at the very heart of daily operations. As a key member of the Branch Management Team, you will be working closely with administrators and Drivers to ensure a seamless service. You will demonstrate strong office management and administrative capability, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of day‑to‑day branch operations. Highly organised and efficient, you will manage competing priorities while maintaining high service standards in a dynamic operational environment.
At heart, you’re a people person. While you set clear expectations, you are passionate about supporting and developing those around you. You will conduct regular one‑to‑one meetings with team members, lead structured team briefings, and ensure open, effective communication across the team. Keeping colleagues informed and up to date with key operational information and business changes will be central to your role.
Working with your team of Customer Service Agents and Drivers, you will take ownership of fleet allocation and utilisation, ensuring the right vehicles reach the right customers at the right time. You will be responsible for coordinating staff rotas and managing holiday schedules to maintain effective coverage and productivity. A proactive and quick thinker, you will confidently resolve operational challenges as they arise, using strong problem‑solving skills and a calm, can‑do approach. You will also be trusted to oversee and run the branch in the absence of the Branch Manager, maintaining performance standards and supporting the wider business objectives.
About You:
Being a successful Team Leader is about combining excellent customer service knowledge with the ability to motivate and inspire others. You thrive in a fast‑paced environment, bring teams together to achieve shared goals, and take pride in delivering a high‑quality service.
