NEC Project Manager β€” Auxilium Consultancy Services

Glasgow | Full-time | Β£60,000 – Β£80,000 + tailored package

Engineer or QS with construction contractor experience? Want to progress your knowledge in construction law and contracts? Read on.

The Role

As an NEC Project Manager with Auxilium, you'll administer NEC contracts on major infrastructure and energy projects β€” including nationally significant schemes in the renewable and low-carbon sector. Auxilium promote independent and impartial decision-making to minimise pathways to dispute. Accountable decision-making is key.

Few roles at this level come with a funded route into construction law β€” this one does. We will sponsor the right candidate through a postgraduate qualification in construction law and support you to chartership.

What you'll own

  • End-to-end administration of NEC contracts β€” communications, notifications and deadlines
  • Programme reviews and acceptance decisions: logic, float, time risk allowances, Key Dates
  • The full compensation event process β€” notification through quotation assessment to implementation
  • Early warning notifications, meetings and register
  • Contract reporting to clients and senior stakeholders
  • Chairing progress and contract meetings with Contractors, clients and designers

What you'll bring

  • A degree in civil engineering, quantity surveying, or a related technical discipline
  • 6+ years' industry experience, ideally in construction project delivery
  • Main contractor or self-delivery contractor experience
  • A postgraduate qualification in construction law β€” or the commitment to achieve one, supported by us
  • Knowledge of the NEC suite and its mechanisms
  • The discipline and organisational skills to operate within prescriptive contractual timescales

Desirable

  • Membership of a professional body (RICS/ICE)
  • NEC ECC PM Accreditation

Worth knowing: this is an office and site-based role β€” working from home is by exception.

What's in it for you

  • Β£60,000 – Β£80,000, depending on experience
  • A package tailored to you β€” not off the shelf
  • Funded postgraduate study in construction law
  • Chartership and NEC accreditation support
  • Real responsibility and ownership on complex projects

If that sounds like the next step, apply now or message us β€” we'd genuinely like to hear from you.
