An Independent Healthcare Communications Agency is looking for a Director-level Client Services professional to join its growing team. They work with global pharmaceutical companies, biotech innovators, and medical device & med-tech businesses, creating campaigns that change clinical practice and patient outcomes.

They need an experienced Associate Director or Director to run a mixture of health accounts and lead a team of juniors. Day-to-day you'll be the main point of contact for marketing directors and brand leads at global pharma clients, ensuring everything is strategically sharp, creatively ambitious and delivered on time.

What you'll be doing:

  • Take ownership of a portfolio of global and European pharma brands, ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery across markets.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted strategic partner.
  • Lead and develop your team, providing day-to-day guidance, mentorship, and clear career development pathways.
  • Drive year-on-year organic growth, identifying opportunities to expand and strengthen existing accounts.
  • Shape truly integrated campaigns across HCP, patient, and digital channels, working closely with cross-functional specialists.
  • Contribute to new business efforts, bringing strategic insight and energy to pitch development and presentations.

About You:

  • 9+ years' experience in healthcare marketing and health communications, primarily within leading agency environments.
  • Currently operating at Associate Director/Director level within a comparable healthcare marketing agency.
  • Proven track record managing and growing global pharma accounts, with hands-on leadership across complex, multi-market programmes.
  • Confident and credible with senior stakeholders, including Marketing Directors, Medical Directors, and cross-functional client teams.
  • Highly proficient in ABPI Code, Veeva approvals, and MLR processes, offering a dependable and compliant approach to delivery.
  • Fully committed to hybrid working, with a preference for being in the Surrey office three days per week.
  • Collaborative, grounded, and genuinely easy to work with, a positive cultural fit as well as strong technical experience.
