Salary: £27,000 – £31,000

Location: London

Hybrid: 3 days per week in the office, 2 days working remotely

A boutique PR agency in South London are looking for an Account Executive to join their growing team. They work in B2B technology, providing high-impact media relations and strategic communications support.

About the Role:

This is a UK-based role with a strong media relations focus. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in PR or communications and be comfortable working at a fast pace, responding to the news agenda. They're looking for a self-starter with a natural curiosity, a keen interest in current affairs, and a passion for crafting compelling stories. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with journalists, develop strong media relationships, and gain deep insights into their clients’ industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute PR campaigns with a strong focus on media relations.
• Monitor and react to the news agenda, identifying opportunities for client coverage.
• Build and maintain relationships with key journalists and media outlets.
• Draft press releases, media pitches, thought leadership pieces, and other written content.
• Provide strategic support to clients, ensuring their messaging aligns with business objectives.
• Stay informed on industry trends and developments, particularly in technology and media.
• Work collaboratively within the team to deliver high-quality results.

What their looking for:

• 6+ months experience in a B2B PR agency
• A genuine interest in the news agenda and media landscape.
• Curiosity about how technology is shaping the world around us.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to tell engaging, fact-based stories.
• Experience in media relations, including an existing network of journalist contacts (or the ability to build one).
• Highly organised, self-motivated, and a proactive 'can-do' attitude.
