  • Leading integrated PR and communications strategies for a portfolio of retained and project clients
  • Running press office activity: releases, statements, media pitching and follow-up
  • Building relationships with journalists and editors across trade and industry media
  • Securing high-quality coverage and proactive story placement
  • Writing and editing press releases, thought leadership, features and campaign content
  • Coordinating speaker opportunities, award entries and conference profile-building
  • Reporting on coverage, share of voice and campaign performance
  • Line managing a direct report and coordinating freelance contributors
  • Advising clients on reputation management and issues/crisis response

Essential

  • 5+ years in B2B PR, communications or integrated marketing
  • Strong track record in a complex, technical B2B or industrial sector
  • Track record securing press office coverage in trade and industry media
  • Excellent writing and editorial judgement
  • Experience advising on reputation management and crisis communications
  • Confidence with Meltwater (or equivalent) and reporting/analytics tools
  • Line management or mentoring experience
  • Willingness to travel for client and industry events
