We’re looking for great people to join our Camp team! Do you enjoy helping others find the best in themselves? Is it rewarding to help others find their sense of accomplishment? Are you fun, energetic, and a great role model for kids? We need awesome people to help give campers an incredible Spring and Summer Camp experience at Autumn’s Gate.
Your Responsibilities:
- Smile constantly… or at minimum consistently
- Lead a specific activity, project, or initiative you have specialty experience in
- Ensure campers are engaging in safe behavior and abiding by the 'Barn Rules' when interacting with horses and farm animals
- Lead a team of campers aged 5-15
- Help organize activities and supervise campers in a safe environment
- Build rapport and camaraderie with your team, fellow counselors, and the camp generally
- Monitor and evaluate the behavior and well-being of campers
- Maintain a positive, upbeat, and energetic attitude (even if you’re not feeling it)
- Make sure EVERYONE has an incredible camp experience!

A Few Additional Qualifications Include:
- Over the age of 16 is a must
- A fun and energetic customer service focused attitude is a must
- Enjoys working with and mentoring kids is a must
- The ability to work with a team and create camaraderie is a must
- Reliable transportation and time management is a must
- Experience as a camp counselor or experience working with kids is a plus
- Experience in any specialty such as crafts, athletics, music is a plus
- Experience riding or working with horses or other animals is a plus
