Senior Fund Accountant – Leading PE Fund Manager – 12 Month Contract (c£500-£600 P/D)
Autumnal Partners is currently recruiting exclusively on behalf of a leading European PE fund manager. Reporting to the Head of Fund Finance, the role is responsible for fund accounting and administration for several PE Funds.
The role would suit an experienced Fund Finance individual with exposure to Private Equity. As part of a hard-working team, the role will be integral to the day-to-day operations of the Funds.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting pack.
- Perform analytical reviews on the financial statements.
- Assist with fund and portfolio investment quarterly valuation assessments. Experience in understanding and calculating waterfall scenarios is advantageous.
- Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS or UK GAAP.
- Reviewing and posting various fund accounting transactions in Investran.
- Providing data to facilitate the preparation of the Exec Committee board pack.
- Support fund investment acquisitions and exits.
- Perform fund treasury management analysis periodically.
- Monitor sources and uses of funds/cash requirements.
- Contribute towards the quarterly IRR projections process, providing input for the models.
- Liaising with several CFO’s or FD’s of underlying portfolio companies to ensure alignment of interest income models and equity ownership %’s on a periodic basis via quarterly investment confirmation process.
- Monitor and maintain Fund carried interest models.
- Ad-hoc analysis and projects.
You will be a motivated qualified accountant (Ideally 3-5 years PQE) trained in accounting for Private Funds (PE/Debt/Real Estate) keen to leverage your experience in dynamic and high transactions fund finance role.
