The Role
You will play a key role in delivering accurate, timely, and insightful group financial reporting, supporting senior decision-making and ensuring a robust control environment across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver high-quality group financial reporting, including detailed analysis and insights for senior management.
- Support the consolidation of multi-currency group management accounts and oversee the monthly reporting cycle.
- Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage elements of the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Act as a key contact for external auditors, coordinating deliverables and resolving queries.
- Prepare and review consolidation adjustments and ensure consistent accounting treatment across the Group.
- Support the development and implementation of group accounting policies and best practices.
- Deliver budgeting and cost analysis to support planning and performance tracking.
- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support acquisition accounting and integration of new businesses into group reporting.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and system enhancements.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business on finance-related projects.
About You
- Qualified ACA / ACCA with approximately 5 - 7 years post qualified experience and excellent academic record.
- Strong experience in group reporting and consolidations within a multi-entity environment.
- Solid technical accounting knowledge.
- Confident communicator with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
