Autumnal Partners is exclusively partnering with a high-growth, global venture capital firm to appoint a Finance Manager into its London office. This is a unique opportunity to join a scaling investment platform at an exciting stage of its growth. Working directly with the CFO, you will gain broad exposure across finance, operations, and strategic initiatives, while helping to build and enhance scalable processes within the business. This is a hands‑on role with real ownership and visibility. You will play a central role in managing financial operations, liaising with external providers, and supporting the firm’s continued expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Own relationships with third‑party accountants and tax advisors, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Support the preparation and review of quarterly management accounts
- Oversee VAT, tax filings, and ongoing compliance requirements
- Monitor cash activity and maintain visibility on cash forecasting across entities
- Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements
- Support the CFO on strategic and operational projects as the firm scales
Candidate Profile
- ACA qualified (1-3 years PQE) with experience in financial and management accounting
- Experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment management preferred
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Naturally curious, proactive, and motivated by continuous improvement
