Assistant Management Accountant - Investment Bank - £30k-£35k+ Bonus

Autumnal Partners are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading European Investment Bank. Our client is seeking a recent accounting & finance graduate to join their finance team in a financial/management reporting and analysis role.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting the Management Accountant with the month-end close process
2. Producing monthly journals for internal allocations, recharges to intercompanies, accruals, and prepayments
3. Investigating variances between budget and actuals, as well as month-on-month variances
4. Analysing monthly spend against budget and producing files for review by the department heads
5. Conducting ad-hoc analysis and projects as required
6. Assisting with quarterly VAT returns
7. Assisting with the yearly budget process
8. Assisting with the audit
9. Assisting with the year-end process

Applicants should be recent graduates with strong academic track records, ideally in accounting and finance, but STEM subject graduates will also be considered. The business is fast-paced, and candidates should be committed and prepared to study ACCA or CIMA.
