Recognised for delivering exceptional care standards and investing heavily in its people, the organisation is seeking an ambitious and professional Care Manager to deliver a service of excellence to their clients.
The role of Care Manager is to predominantly manage the Service Delivery, reporting into the fully Registered Care Manager who provides continued support. Therefore, the opportunity does not require a full Registration with CQC. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Care Manager, Registered Manager, or an aspiring Deputy Manager/Senior Care Coordinator who is looking to join a home care business where career progression is genuinely encouraged and supported.

The organisation is currently in a phase of steady growth which will potentially lead to Operational & Area Management opportunities within both Home Care & Live-in Care.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsive, Well led service of excellence to clients
- Manage, motivate and develop a dedicated team of care professionals consisting of a coordination team and field care professionals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with service users, families, local authorities and healthcare professionals
- Conduct care assessments, risk assessments, spot checks & service reviews
- Oversee care planning, quality assurance and audit processes
- Manage safeguarding concerns, investigations and incident reporting
- Work collaboratively with senior leaders to support the ongoing success of the business
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training and staff development initiatives
- Whilst this is very much a management and leadership position, the successful candidate should be prepared to provide hands-on care support on occasions.
On-Call Responsibilities
The on-call commitment is shared between yourself and 4 other leaders within the business equating to 1 weekend in 5 providing a balanced and manageable rota. This collaborative approach ensures you have the support needed to maintain a healthy work-life balance whilst delivering excellent service continuity.
Office Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm 1hr Paid Break
About You
- Previous experience as a Care Manager, Registered Home Care Manager, Deputy Home Care Manager or Senior Care Coordinator
- Completed NVQ Level 4 or working towards
- Willing to study towards Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care
- Knowledge of CQC standards
- Commercial awareness and a desire to contribute to business growth
- Passionate about delivering outstanding person-centred care
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
