Autumn Search are delighted to be recruiting for a Registered Home Care Manager on behalf of an established Home Care Agency situated in Gosport, Hampshire. Due to continued growth, my client is now actively seeking an individual who has experience working within a Deputy Care Manager or Care Manager role, and has a genuine passion for delivering the utmost standard of care to their service users. In order for the successful candidate to obtain a CQC Registration, you will receive full training, development and mentorship from the Senior Management Team. Key responsibilities include:
- Manage a safe and well-led home care service to service users in the Gosport area
- Manage a team of care professionals and office staff
- Liaise with and co-operate with Care Quality Commission inspectors and inspections
- Provide the highest standards of Care & Continuity of Care to Clients at all times
- Recruit, induct & supervise new Care Professionals & Office Team
- Take inquiries from prospective new clients
- Effectively assess new clients (Risk Assessments)
- Liaise with Social Workers, Family & other Professionals to Plan & Manage Care Needs
- Client Care Plans
- Use Care planning software to generate staff rotas
- Manage the company’s Audit & Quality Assurance cycle
- Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with Clients' personal and financial affairs
- Ensure that all care calls are covered
- Follow safeguarding guidance and reporting mechanisms to ensure the safety of clients, staff and others
- Actively promote the home care service and brand of business in order to aid steady/safe growth
- Deliver hands-on care when needed
- Provide on-call support to clients and carers during evenings and weekends as part of a scheduled rota (1 weekend in 4 until 9pm)
