The
Head of Housekeeping is responsible for leading the housekeeping team to maintain a clean, safe, hygienic and welcoming environment for residents, visitors and staff.
The role ensures compliance with CQC standards, infection prevention and control requirements, and health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping and laundry teams.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the home.
- Implement infection prevention and control procedures.
- Conduct regular quality and environmental audits.
- Manage cleaning supplies, equipment and departmental budgets.
- Recruit, train, supervise and appraise housekeeping staff.
