Under the Store Manager’s guidance, MITs lead by example, demonstrating initiative and strong leadership. Through operational oversight and team development, store management supports AutoZone’s mission of providing trusted automotive solutions.
As a Parts Sales Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving sales performance, fostering a high-performing team, and ensuring an exceptional WOW! Customer Service experience. You will join a vibrant team dedicated to reaching goals, honing leadership abilities, and fostering career growth in the automotive retail field.
Responsibilities
- Leadership – Assist the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing high-performing employees, fostering a motivated and engaged team.
- Communication – Maintain clear, effective interactions with both customers and employees, ensuring smooth store operations and positive experiences.
- Metrics Mindedness – Monitor sales goals, inventory accuracy, and performance standards to drive business success.
- Process Orientation – Follow structured store procedures, manage inventory, oversee cash handling, control shrink and ensure operational efficiency.
- Teamwork – Work collaboratively with store staff and commercial department leaders to maintain seamless operations and customer service excellence.
- Parts Sales & Inventory Management – Lead efforts to exceed sales targets, optimize inventory levels, and ensure timely returns processing and merchandising.
- Safety & Compliance – Enforce PPE use, promote risk management practices, and uphold company safety standards.
- Commercial Account Support – Assist in managing commercial and hub departments to support timely deliveries and customer needs.
- Problem Solving – Resolve customer concerns and store operational issues swiftly, always upholding company policies.
