Gemini Software is a UK-based software company building practical, industry‑specific systems for automotive, fleet and compliance‑focused businesses. We develop and support two in‑house software products: Autovolt and Autocheck.

We are now looking for a New Business Sales Executive to help us grow both products across their target markets. This is a hands‑on sales role. You will be finding new prospects, starting conversations, booking demos, following up properly and helping suitable businesses understand how our software can improve the way they work.

The Role

  • You will be focused on finding and winning new customers for Autovolt and Autocheck.
  • For Autovolt, you will mainly be speaking with motor factors, trade counters, parts suppliers and similar automotive businesses.
  • For Autocheck, you will be speaking with businesses that operate vehicles, manage inspections, handle compliance requirements or need better visibility over fleet‑related processes.
  • Your job will be to understand where they are struggling and explain how our software can help.
  • This is not an account management role. It is a new business role, so you must be comfortable with outbound sales, follow‑up and rejection.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Find and approach potential customers for Autovolt and Autocheck.
  • Speak with business owners, directors, fleet managers, operations managers and branch managers.
  • Book discovery calls and software demos.
  • Ask questions to understand how each business currently manages stock, sales, vehicles, checks, inspections or compliance processes.
  • Explain the benefits of our software in a clear, practical way.
  • Follow up with prospects and move deals through the pipeline.
  • Keep CRM records accurate and up to date.
  • Work with the team to hand over new customers properly.
  • Share useful feedback from prospects with the wider business.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 2 years’ B2B sales experience.
  • Experience with outbound sales or new business development.
  • Confidence speaking with decision‑makers.
  • Good organisation and follow‑up habits.
  • The ability to explain products clearly without overcomplicating things.
  • A positive attitude and resilience when prospects say no.
  • Experience in any of the following would be useful, but not essential: SaaS or software sales, Automotive, fleet, transport, logistics or motor trade sectors, Stock control, inventory or ERP systems, Compliance, inspections or vehicle management, Selling to SMEs or owner‑managed companies.

What Success Looks Like

  • Building a steady pipeline of suitable prospects.
  • Booking regular demos with the right businesses.
  • Converting new customers onto Autovolt and Autocheck.
  • Following up consistently.
  • Keeping clear records of conversations and opportunities.
  • Learning both target markets and using that knowledge in your sales approach.
  • Contributing directly to the growth of Gemini Software.

What We Offer

  • Realistic OTE of £42,000 to £47,000 per year.
  • Commission on new business won.
  • Product and market training.
  • Support from the team during demos and onboarding.
  • A chance to help shape the sales process as we grow.
  • Progression opportunities as the business develops.

Why Join Gemini Software?

This is an opportunity to join a growing software business at a point where your input really matters. You will not be joining a large corporate sales team with rigid scripts and layers of management. You will be working closely with the people building and running the business, helping us take two specialist software products to clearly defined markets.
