About the role

We’re looking for a Partnership Manager to join our Partnerships community covering the Midlands area of England such as, but not limited to, areas including Birmingham, Nottingham, Peterborough, Leicester and Stoke. It is a remote‑based role, requiring a minimum of three days travel per week to customers’ sites in the Midlands area and occasionally beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the trusted business partner for customers, understanding their objectives and advising on solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with Independent retailer customers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders within customers’ businesses and across Autotrader to support their needs.
  • Use Autotrader’s data and insights to influence decision‐making, drive digital performance, and deliver real commercial results.
  • Educate customers on the right digital products to grow and increase efficiencies.
  • Create clear, data‑driven presentations with storytelling, visual design and audience‑led narratives to simplify insights and inspire action.
  • Travel a minimum of three days per week within the Midlands.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a B2B account management role owning a customer base.
  • Track record of achieving commercial KPIs such as driving revenue growth, product uptake and retention.
  • Strong commercial acumen – able to spot growth opportunities and mitigate risk through effective questioning and listening.
  • Confidence communicating with a range of customers and influencing decisions, developing long‑term partnerships.
  • Experience turning data and insight into actionable recommendations.
  • Confidence in contributing to continuous improvement by sharing best practices and customer feedback internally.
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
  • Passion for customer success and digital transformation.
  • Strong collaborator, working closely with the wider team to share insights and drive better outcomes for customers.

Remuneration & Benefits

We’re offering a salary of £40,000 – £50,000, plus an additional 10% of your salary awarded in shares each year (vested in yearly instalments over three years).

You’ll have 28 days holiday per year, plus bank holidays and half‑day closures on Christmas and New Year’s Eve.
