Main purpose of job:
- To carry out servicing, repairs and replacement on vehicles as per written instructions or as directed by supervision or management.
- Carry out MOT tests in accordance with VOSA guidelines.
- To maintain the highest levels of workmanship at all times.
Main objectives, key tasks and responsibilities:
- Repair and servicing of motor vehicles as instructed within as far as possible ICME repair times, ensuring the highest quality of workmanship.
- To report any additional defects requiring attention.
- Complete write-up work carried out on the job card.
- To maintain an up to date knowledge of vehicle service and repair procedures.
- To record any consumables used.
- To return all exchange/returnable items in a clean and complete condition.
- Maintain own and Autotechnics tools in a safe and clean condition.
- To keep working area clean and tidy and mop up any spilt oil/fluids immediately.
- To keep any displaced parts for at least 48 hours.
- To use safety goggles and protective gloves supplied by Autotechnics and report any defects to the Partners.
To comply with Autotechnics Health and Safety policy.
