AutotechRecruit are actively recruiting qualified Mechanics to join our ever‑growing contracting workforce. Whether you’re looking for Monday–Friday work or part‑time days, contracting gives you the flexibility to work when and where it suits you, with long and short‑term contracts available.

You’ll be working with a variety of automotive clients, including Main Dealers, Car Supermarkets, Fast Fit Companies, Independent Workshops, Council & Fleet Services and more. Contracting means no two roles are the same — enjoy working in different environments, gaining experience across multiple sites, without the worry of where your next role will come from.

Pay and Contracts

  • Earn up to £24 per hour
  • Long‑term and short‑term assignments
  • Pay reflects travel distance from your home

What we’re looking for and to be considered

  • Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) OR time‑served experience
  • Minimum 4–5 years’ experience (Light Vehicle)
  • Your own tools (top box only)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to travel a reasonable distance from home
