About the Role
Our client, a leading automotive service and repair business, is looking to recruit an experienced MOT Tester to join their busy centre in Wokingham.

As an MOT Tester, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet DVSA standards while providing customers with a professional and informative service.
You'll be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections, identifying vehicle defects, and communicating findings clearly and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA regulations
- Identify and accurately report vehicle defects and failures
- Explain MOT results and advisory work to customers in a professional manner
- Maintain accurate records and test documentation
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the inspection process
- Support the wider workshop team when required
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards
- Candidate Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have
- A valid MOT Testing Licence
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and positive approach to supporting colleagues and customers
