Our client is a well-established independent garage in Stourbridge with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, honest service, and customer satisfaction.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join their close-knit team.
This is a family-run operation with a busy 3-ramp workshop, currently employing two technicians and one front-of-house team member.
The successful candidate will become an integral part of the business, working in a supportive environment where everyone contributes to the garage's success.
Responsibilities include
- Servicing and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently
- Carrying out MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards
- Completing vehicle inspections and health checks
- Performing mechanical repairs to a high standard
- Maintaining accurate job records and workshop standards
What We're Looking For Essential
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Current MOT Tester licence
