About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join a growing automotive business as a Lead Technician.
This role is ideally suited to a strong diagnostic technician who enjoys tackling complex repairs and supporting workshop standards.
Candidates from both independent garages and franchise dealerships are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out advanced diagnostics and fault finding
- Undertake complex mechanical repairs and maintenance
- Complete major engine and timing-related work including wet belts, timing belts and timing chains
- Support workshop productivity and technical standards
- Ensure repairs are completed efficiently and to the highest quality
- Assist colleagues with technical guidance where required
- Maintain accurate repair records and job documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic capability
- Experience completing complex mechanical repairs and engine work
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Lead Technician experience advantageous
- Level 3 qualification preferred
- EV qualifications and advanced technical training beneficial
- Full UK Driving Licence
