Key Responsibilities
- Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
- Complete vehicle inspections and report any additional work required
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard
- Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues where needed
- Work closely with service advisors and workshop control to maintain smooth workflow
- Deliver exceptional levels of customer satisfaction through quality workmanship
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification)
- Experienced Level 2 qualified technicians with franchised dealership experience will also be considered
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
- MOT Tester licence beneficial but not essential
- Full UK driving licence required
