Autotech Recruit is looking to add qualified Vehicle Technicians to our contracting workforce. Our contractors cover long‑ and short‑term contracts with a wide range of automotive clients, including main dealers, car supermarkets, fast‑fit companies, independent workshops, councils and more. As a contractor/freelancer you can work as many days as you want, earn a higher pay rate than permanent staff, work in different locations, and avoid workshop politics. We work with you to keep you as busy as you like and have customers across the country needing cover ASAP.

Requirements:

  • A NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification or time‑served experience
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a mechanic or vehicle technician role
  • Your own tools (top box only)
  • Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle
  • Ability to travel a reasonable amount from your home – the further you travel, the better the pay
