An established and reputable automotive business in Luton is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join its busy workshop team. Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults
- Complete vehicle health checks and safety inspections
- Perform repairs to brakes, suspension, steering, exhausts, clutches and other vehicle systems
- Conduct diagnostic investigations using manufacturer and aftermarket equipment
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer and industry standards
- Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation
- Work collaboratively with workshop controllers, service advisors and fellow technicians
- Uphold excellent health and safety standards at all times
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician or Mechanic
- Relevant Level 2 or Level 3 automotive qualification (or equivalent experience)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Full UK driving licence
- MOT Tester qualification advantageous but not essential
