We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, reputable independent automotive business in Leicester who are looking to add a Skilled Vehicle Technician to their growing workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician seeking a stable Monday–Friday role with a great team environment and modern working practices.
The Role
- As a Vehicle Technician, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of servicing, maintenance, and repair work across a variety of vehicles.
- You will be joining a professional and supportive workshop where quality and efficiency are key.
- Routine servicing and maintenance
- Mechanical repairs and fault finding
- General inspections and vehicle health checks
- Working with digital systems (iPads/Techman) to log work and diagnostics
- Supporting the wider workshop team to maintain high standards
About You
- We’re looking for a well-rounded technician who is reliable, motivated, and takes pride in their work.
- Requirements:
- Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years’ hands-on experience in a workshop
- Background from either main dealer or independent garage welcomed
- MOT Licence desirable (not essential)
- Comfortable using modern workshop technology / tablets
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required
You don’t need to be a diagnostic expert, but you should be technically minded and confident using modern systems.

- Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm (paid until 5:00pm!)
