About the Role
Our client, a leading automotive service and repair business, is looking to recruit an experienced MOT Tester to join their high-performing workshop in Huntingdon.

The successful candidate will play a key role in helping customers stay safe and compliant on the road by delivering MOT testing to the highest standards.
Working within a fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for carrying out MOT inspections, accurately identifying vehicle defects, and providing professional advice regarding repairs and maintenance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct MOT tests in accordance with current DVSA regulations and standards
- Identify and accurately report vehicle defects, failures, and advisories
- Communicate MOT outcomes and repair recommendations clearly and professionally
- Maintain accurate documentation and testing records
- Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the MOT process
- Support the wider workshop team when required
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and health & safety procedures
- Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position, you will have
- A valid MOT Testing Licence
- A full UK driving licence
- Previous experience working as an MOT Tester
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to vehicle safety
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
- A positive, team-oriented approach and willingness to support colleagues
