An established and growing automotive workshop in the Croydon area is looking to appoint an experienced LCV Technician to join its professional aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician seeking a stable, Monday-to-Friday role within a supportive and well-organised workshop environment.

The Role

  • Servicing, maintenance, and repair of light and medium commercial vehicles
  • Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment and fault-finding techniques
  • Completing repairs in line with manufacturer and company standards
  • Accurately completing job cards and associated service documentation
  • Carrying out vehicle health checks and identifying additional repair requirements
  • Ensuring productivity and quality targets are consistently achieved
  • Liaising with service and parts departments to support efficient workshop operations
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment

About You

  • Previous experience as an LCV Technician, Van Technician, or qualified Vehicle Technician
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification (or equivalent)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
  • Experience working on commercial vehicles or a range of franchise/manufacturer brands
  • A full UK Driving Licence
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
