About the Role
Our client is seeking experienced MOT Testers and Vehicle Technicians to join their growing workshop team.
They are looking for reliable, self-motivated individuals who can work independently and consistently deliver high-quality workmanship.
Candidates with dedicated MOT testing experience are particularly welcomed, although experienced Vehicle Technicians with an MOT licence will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- MOT testing in line with DVSA standards (where qualified)
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults
- Complete repair work including clutches, cambelts, suspension and other general mechanical repairs
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Maintain accurate records of work completed
Requirements
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester and/or Vehicle Technician
- Valid MOT Testing Licence advantageous
- Strong practical mechanical skills and diagnostic ability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable and professional approach to work
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
