Overview
PRODUCTION OPERATIVE – Autosmart is a manufacturing success story. The market leaders in our sector, we have doubled in size over the last 10 years, invested £35 million in a state-of-the-art manufacturing hub, and have recently been accredited as ‘Very Good to Work for’ by employee engagement specialists, Best Companies for the second year in a row. We’re looking for a Production Operative to join us on a full time permanent basis. The hours are 7.30am – 4pm, Monday to Friday. 1 in every 2 vehicles in the UK are cleaned using Autosmart products, so you can take pride in knowing the products being used were prepared by you.
Responsibilities
- Set filling machines to product weight specifications
- Fill containers with products to daily production schedules
- Wrap and pack products securely on to pallets
- Stock control and rotation
- Assist in the labelling production process
- Update company IT systems
- Promote and follow safety first company values
- Contribute towards continuous business improvements
About You

- Previous experience of operating mechanical handling equipment, including powered pedestrian pallet trucks and counterbalance forklift trucks would be an advantage but is not essential.
