We manufacture and deliver a diverse range of vehicle cleaning products and are the trade leader in the UK and Ireland. We are experiencing the most significant period of business growth in our history, with sales expected to increase by 50% in the next 5 years, the implementation of our new ERP system and the upgrading of our manufacturing operations.
As our new Senior SHREQ Manager, you will lead our team with a passion for continuous improvement, shaping and leading best practice in the transformation of health and safety, environmental, quality, regulatory and legislative policies. You will take the lead on a variety of exciting projects as part of our EN14001-aligned environmental sustainability focus.
Responsibilities
- Define, shape, and implement our SHREQ strategy and vision
- Advise and guide the Board on all aspects of safety and environment legislation
- Be a role model for SHREQ best practice
- Motivate, lead, and inspire a team of subject matter experts
- Coach, guide and develop your team through SMART objectives and PDPs
- Implement new processes and drive change to improve efficiency
- Work cross functionally with colleagues to achieve business objectives
What You Will Bring

- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (science, health and safety, environmental)
- NEBOSH Certificate (Diploma an advantage)
- Professional competence ideally backed up with relevant qualifications/memberships e.g. DGSA, FPA Fire Safety Management, ISEP, IQA Membership, IRCA Lead Auditor
