Home Field Sales Representative – Crawley

Field Sales Representative: Want to escape the store and get out on the road? Tired of working weekends & evenings? Working in retail and looking to jumpstart your sales career?

We have a unique opportunity for experienced retail professionals to join our van sales team in the South East as a Field Sales Representative. This is an exciting chance to realise your earning potential and kick start your sales career. The good news is that no previous field sales experience is necessary; we’re used to training field salespeople to succeed.

This role will allow you to utilise your already excellent customer service and retail skills and still be face to face with customers meeting new people daily. Whilst also developing your sales skills, giving you the independence of being out on the road and in charge of your own results.

From day one

  • A coaching and personal development plan.
  • Be fully supported in your new role and receive onboard coaching from our sales manager
  • Full sales induction covering product knowledge skills at our Staffordshire Head Office
  • Be put through HGV Class C training and licencing.
  • Receive full uniform to ensure you stand out as team Autosmart on the road.

A typical day

  • Begin your day by arriving in our Crawley depot for a morning briefing with our Sales Manager.
  • Head straight out on the road in your already stocked 12 tonne truck (we like to call them mobile showrooms) to your assigned territory.
  • Make 20 customer visits both to new and existing customers on a pre-planned route.
  • Return to the depot to share your successes and get ready for the next day

  • Starting salary of up to £36,000 with realistic earnings of £50,000+ from year one
  • A Monday to Friday daytime hours position, with no more than 4 weekend days per year
