The Role
As a
Senior Parts Sales Advisor, you will play an important role in supporting customers, developing parts sales and helping to maintain an efficient and well-organised parts department.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing parts enquiries and providing accurate identification and information
- Advising customers on suitable parts and solutions
- Supporting and developing parts sales to help achieve branch targets
- Providing 24-hour call-out support as part of a rota
- Assisting with stockroom and inventory duties
- Supporting all areas of the parts department as required
- Liaising with customers and responding to queries professionally
- Keeping customers updated on the progress of their enquiries and orders
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring information is processed efficiently
- Supporting departmental quality and customer service standards
- Maintaining an organised and professional parts department
- Ensuring good health and safety practices are followed
- Completing training and development activities as required
- Supporting the wider team and undertaking other reasonable duties when required
About You
We're looking for a
Senior Parts Sales Advisor who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a similar parts role
- Experience working within a busy automotive, commercial vehicle or truck-related environment
- Good parts knowledge and the ability to identify the correct components
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A professional telephone manner
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good organisational and administration skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive approach to maintaining high customer service standards
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A valid right to work in the UK
- Previous experience as a Senior Parts Sales Advisor within the commercial vehicle sector would be particularly advantageous.
