Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm (40 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine safety inspections and preventative maintenance.
- Prepare HGVs for MOT testing.
- Complete brake testing and associated inspections.
- Undertake welding and fabrication work.
- Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical repairs.
- Service and repair rigid and articulated HGVs.
- Work on curtain-sided vehicles and skeletal (skelly) trailers.
Requirements
- Ideally qualified to Level 3 in HGV Maintenance and Repair.
- HGV Class 1 driving licence - essential.
- Previous experience working on rigid and articulated vehicles.
- Experience with curtain-sided vehicles and skeletal trailers.
