THE ROLE
As an MET Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out Mechanical, Electrical and Trim work on accident-damaged vehicles, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently and to the required standard.
- Carry out mechanical repairs and component replacement
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults where required
- Remove and refit vehicle trim and associated components
- Strip and fit components safely and efficiently
- Support vehicle repairs following accident damage
- Work to agreed repair timescales and quality standards
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience as an MET Technician
- Proven experience within an automotive Bodyshop environment
- Strong Mechanical, Electrical and Trim knowledge
- Good understanding of modern vehicle repair methods
- Ability to diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Reliable, professional and able to work effectively as part of a team
