THE ROLE

As a Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Bodyshop Estimator, you'll assess accident-damaged vehicles, produce accurate repair estimates, and support the efficient progression of vehicles through the repair process.

Key responsibilities include

  • Inspecting accident-damaged vehicles and accurately assessing the extent of repairs required.
  • Producing detailed repair estimates using industry-standard estimating systems.
  • Identifying additional damage during the repair process and updating estimates accordingly.
  • Liaising with customers, insurers, engineers, technicians, and other relevant parties throughout the repair journey.
  • Ensuring proposed repair methods are aligned with manufacturer specifications and industry standards.
  • Monitoring repair progress and communicating any changes or additional requirements.
  • Supporting workshop technicians with accurate repair information where required.
  • Maintaining accurate records while delivering a professional customer service experience.

ABOUT YOU

This role would suit an experienced Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Bodyshop Estimator / Vehicle Estimator / Accident Repair Estimator with strong technical knowledge and excellent attention to detail.

You’ll ideally have

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor, VDA, or Bodyshop Estimator within the accident repair sector.
  • Hold an ATA / IMI accreditation in Vehicle Damage Assessment and proficient in estimating systems such as Audatex / GT Global, with strong IT and system skills.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle body repair methods and accident damage assessment.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, insurers, and workshop teams.
  • A methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • A full UK driving licence.
