THE ROLE
As an Experienced Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician, you will work across a range of accident repair disciplines, using your experience across MET, Panel, SMART and general bodyshop repair to ensure vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard. Working as part of an experienced team, you'll play a key role in maintaining vehicle quality and workshop efficiency while using your broad technical knowledge to support the complete repair process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out accident repair work across multiple bodyshop disciplines including MET, Panel, and SMART repair
- Undertake light strip and fit of exterior vehicle components and associated repair work
- Complete panel repairs, preparation, refinishing and painting to a high standard
- Diagnose damage and select appropriate repair methods and techniques
- Work closely with other technicians to ensure efficient vehicle throughput
- Ensure all repairs are completed to manufacturer, industry and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment
- Complete repairs within agreed production times while maintaining excellent workmanship
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a highly experienced and versatile Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician who takes pride in their work and enjoys using a broad range of technical skills.
- Proven experience within an automotive accident repair bodyshop
- Strong background across MET, Panel, and/or SMART repair
- Experience working on accident-damaged vehicles
- Confident carrying out strip and fit, panel repair and preparation work
- Knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods and techniques
- Ability to work across multiple areas of the bodyshop when required
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Conscientious, reliable and professionally presented
- Strong team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining high repair standards
- IMI and/or ATA qualifications advantageous
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
