Hours: Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00 + 1 in 3 Saturdays 08:30-12:30

The Role

As a key member of the workshop team, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles are maintained and repaired to manufacturer standards.

  • Servicing & Repairs: Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs efficiently and safely.
  • Vehicle Inspections: Complete vehicle health checks and report additional work required.
  • Diagnostics: Perform basic mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis.
  • PDI Work: Carry out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles.
  • Accessories & Repairs: Fit accessories and complete authorised repair work.
  • Warranty Work: Complete warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Road Testing: Test vehicles following repair work to ensure faults are rectified.
  • Documentation: Complete all job cards and paperwork accurately and professionally.

What We Need From You

  • Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic / Automotive Technician.
  • Licence: Full UK Driving Licence required.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a busy workshop.
  • Motivation: Strong work ethic with a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Desirable Skills: Diagnostic, MOT, and EV experience would be advantageous but are not essential.
