The Role
As a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic, you'll play a key role in maintaining and repairing vehicles to manufacturer standards while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs efficiently
- Completing vehicle health checks using the latest diagnostic technology
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing manufacturer warranty repairs in line with required standards
- Carrying out authorised repair work following customer approval
- Road testing vehicles following repairs where required
- Completing all workshop documentation accurately and professionally
- Working collaboratively to maximise workshop efficiency and productivity
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent) is essential
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic / Automotive Technician
- Main dealer or independent garage experience considered
- Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence required
- Diagnostic, MOT and EV/Hybrid experience advantageous but not essential
- A positive team player with excellent attention to detail and a willingness to continue learning and developing
