THE ROLE
As a Panel Beater / Panel Technician, you'll be responsible for repairing damaged vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring every repair is completed safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Repairing and replacing damaged vehicle panels using approved repair techniques.
- Carrying out structural and cosmetic body repairs to manufacturer standards.
- Straightening vehicle bodywork using specialist repair equipment.
- Removing and refitting body panels where required to complete repairs.
- Working closely with MET Technicians and Paint Sprayers to ensure efficient workflow.
- Completing repairs within agreed timescales without compromising quality.
- Following all health and safety procedures and manufacturer repair methods.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and professional working environment.
ABOUT YOU
We're looking for a skilled Panel Beater / Panel Technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality repairs and enjoys working as part of a collaborative Bodyshop team.
You will ideally have:
- A recognised qualification in Vehicle Body Repair (NVQ, IMI, SVQ or ATA) or equivalent industry experience.
- Previous experience as a Panel Beater, Panel Technician or Vehicle Body Repair Technician.
- Strong knowledge of modern body repair techniques and manufacturer repair methods.
- The ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of workmanship.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- A positive attitude with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- A full UK driving licence.
