This role is ideal for a strong leader with main dealer workshop experience who can drive performance, develop teams, and deliver exceptional customer service within a fast-paced environment. You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the depot, overseeing both the service and parts departments while ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and profitability across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop the overall aftersales operation
- Drive profitability across service and parts departments
- Improve workshop efficiency, productivity, and staff utilisation
- Assist with budgeting and financial performance alongside senior management
- Ensure full Health & Safety compliance across the depot
- Lead recruitment, development, and performance management of staff
- Maintain high customer service standards and exceed client expectations
- Implement training and development plans for all depot employees
- Ensure the premises are maintained to a high operational standard
- Monitor warranty and contract processes effectively
- Resolve invoice-related queries in a timely and professional manner
- Support business development activities and identify growth opportunities
- Participate in operational improvement initiatives and performance campaigns
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within a Main Dealer commercial vehicle environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
- Customer-focused approach with strong problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- IT literate with experience using workshop/dealer systems
- Full UK driving licence required

- HGV licence
