The Role
As a Master Technician, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality diagnostics, servicing and repairs while supporting the workshop team with your technical expertise. Your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out complex diagnostics, servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and electronic faults efficiently
- Inspecting vehicles and identifying repair requirements
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and right first time
- Providing technical guidance and support to fellow Technicians
- Liaising with Service Advisors and Workshop Control to ensure a smooth workflow
- Maintaining accurate workshop documentation and job records
- Delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction
About You
We're looking for someone with:
- NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
- Previous experience as a Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Strong understanding of manufacturer standards and workshop procedures
- Ability to mentor and support other Technicians
- MOT Tester Licence desirable but not essential
- Full UK Manual Driving Licence
- A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail
- Right to work in the UK (Sponsorship is not available)
