THE ROLE
This is a varied customer-facing position combining Bodyshop Advisor, Service Advisor and Estimator responsibilities. You will be responsible for managing customers throughout the repair process while supporting estimating, insurance claims and the day-to-day coordination of Bodyshop repairs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing customer bookings, enquiries and repair appointments from initial contact through to vehicle handover.
- Carrying out vehicle inspections and preparing accurate Bodyshop repair estimates.
- Managing insurance claims and liaising with insurers, engineers and customers regarding repair authorisations.
- Providing regular repair updates while ensuring customer expectations are effectively managed.
- Coordinating vehicle assessments and working closely with technicians and Bodyshop colleagues to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Monitoring repair progress and supporting the achievement of productivity and quality standards.
- Sourcing and ordering non-franchise parts while liaising with suppliers regarding pricing and availability.
- Maintaining accurate repair records, estimates and customer documentation.
ABOUT YOU
- Previous experience as a Bodyshop Advisor, Bodyshop Estimator, Service Advisor, Vehicle Damage Assessor or similar automotive position.
- Strong knowledge of Bodyshop repair processes and vehicle estimating.
- Experience dealing with insurance claims and repair authorisations is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong administration and organisational ability with excellent attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks within a busy Bodyshop environment.
- A professional, positive and team-focused approach.
