A leading London bus operator is looking for skilled and motivated Level 3 HGV/PSV Technicians to join its growing engineering team across multiple London depots.

Hours: 6:00pm - 6:00am

The Role: As an Advanced Engineer, you'll play a key part in keeping a modern fleet operating safely and efficiently. You'll be responsible for carrying out inspections, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on buses to the highest standards.

Duties Include:

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGV/PSV vehicles
  • Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
  • Using tablet-based systems to complete job records and inspections
  • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
  • Supporting vehicle reliability and fleet availability

What We're Looking For:

  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 in HGV or PSV Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working on heavy vehicles, buses or commercial fleets
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of workshop health & safety procedures
  • Comfortable using digital workshop systems and diagnostic equipment

Desirable:

  • IRTEC accreditation
  • PCV licence (training can be provided if required)
