A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Diagnostic Technician & MOT Tester to join a busy, well-established workshop in Warrington. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys complex faultâfinding, takes pride in their work, and is looking for strong earning potential alongside a healthy workâlife balance.
The Role
- Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs
- Inspecting vehicles and accurately diagnosing faults
- Diagnosing complex electrical and mechanical issues
- Repairing or replacing components as required
- Fitting and servicing vehicle accessories (immobilisers, alarms, stereos, etc.)
- Road testing vehicles to ensure repairs meet quality and safety standards
- Completing routine maintenance tasks (oil changes, air filters, etc.)
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and wellâorganised workshop environment
- MOT Tester Licence â Class 4 and 7 (essential)
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician
- Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
- MOT Tester licence â Class 4 and 7 (essential)
- Strong diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems
- A positive attitude with a desire to progress and upskill
- Full UK manual driving licence (subject to checks)
